OLF supports Yéle Haïti

This foundation was originally seted up by Wyclef Jean (musician and producteur, ex leader of the musical group the Fugee’s) to contribute to the social and economic developement of his native country. He uses his fame, crosses the World and, through cultural and sportive activities, raises money required for the reconstruction of Haïti.

Recently, Yélé Haïti started the realization of severals projects including a new health clinic, common-kitchens and the construction of traditional houses. There are more than 3 000 new jobs, 7 000 schooled children, 8 000 people receive each month foodstuffs and 2 000 people are also aware of STD.

A delegation of Yele Haïti, chaired by Claudinette, Wyclef Jean’s wife, sided with the One Love Foundation-Florent Malouda president, offered a humanitarian assistance to some of popular district residents and to the homeless people of several reception centers.

Thousands of clothes, shooes and foods were distributed in Kenskoff, Grand Ravine and Cite Soleil. The French international ambassador of Yele Haïti Florent Malouda distributed thousands of tee-shirts to the youngs of the capital’s camps.
